Molly's Goal

We loved getting to meet one of your cats today Molly! He was very cute. We also enjoyed your presentation about cats - great work!

Science

Today we put 4 teaspoons of sugar, 20 teaspoons of water and a drop of food colouring into a bowl and mixed it together. Now we are going to leave it in the sun (hopefully we get some sun) for a couple of days and see what happens.

Question: If you had your favourite drink in all of these cups, which cup would you like and why?

Most of us picked the green glass because it is taller.

We learnt that just because the green glass is taller doesn't mean it holds the most. We discovered that the green glass and the middle glass actually held exactly the same amount because the middle class was wider (fatter).
