Term 3 Important Dates

Welcome to Term 3! Here are some important dates to remember. More info to come regarding each one.

• Week 2 - 30th July Cross Country (Postponement is 31st July)
• Week 3 - 8th August Marae Visit 
• Week 4 - 16th August Room 18's Assembly! 2pm
• Week 9 - 21st September School Fair

Homework

Homework is optional during the school holidays. If you would like your child to do some extra work during the school holidays then here are some ideas.

• Practice mihi that is glued into homework book (we will be sharing these at the marae during week 3)
• Maths flash cards - some children have these in their book bag
• Learning Commitment Goals 
• Lexia (password glued into homework book)
• Study Ladder (password glued into homework book)
• Reading 
• Write a diary about your holidays

Science Show

We were very lucky to get to watch this amazing show today. We loved it!

Egg Cartons

I am collecting empty egg cartons that hold 6 eggs to use in our school fair. If you could please save these and bring them into school it would be very much appreciated!
