Rubbish and dirt experiment

Today we collected some of our rubbish from healthy food snack time and morning tea. We buried this in a container of dirt. We want to find out what happens to rubbish when it is buried.

We buried:
Banana skin
Apple core
Mandarin skin
Chip packet
Tin foil
Glad wrap
Plastic

Will is stay the same? Will some things change? Will all things change?
