We passed them around and felt them, rolled them on the concrete, bounced them on a chair and the grass. By the time we finished doing all these things we had no rubber eggs left (they had popped) but this was fun!
Rubber Egg Experiment
Tuesday, 3 September 2019
We enjoyed doing this rubber egg experiment! On Friday we put some eggs in a container and covered them in vinegar. Today we looked at them and had a play. They felt soft and rubbery - very different to how they felt before going into the container!
We passed them around and felt them, rolled them on the concrete, bounced them on a chair and the grass. By the time we finished doing all these things we had no rubber eggs left (they had popped) but this was fun!

The egg felt rubbery. Everybody enjoyed feeling and playing with the egg. I was excited to do the activity. From Josiah.
